Lenore Skenazy, “America’s worst mom” and author of “Free-Range Kids” Speaks at Bank Street

Date/Time
Monday, March 11, 2019
6:00 PM EDT - 7:30 PM EDT

Join us at this provocative talk that is certain to spark interesting discussion about different approaches to parenting.

After Lenore Skenazy’s column “Why I Let My 9 Year Old Ride the Subway Alone” landed her on every talk show from The Today Show to Dr. Phil, she founded the book and blog “Free-Range Kids,” which have grown into the non-profit Let Grow.

Skenazy lectures internationally (Microsoft, DreamWorks, Harvard Med…) and has been profiled everywhere from The New Yorker  to The Daily  Show. She’s also written for everyone from The Wall Street Journal to Mad Magazine.

Yep. Mad. She’s really funny.

Lenore is also an alumni interviewer for Yale who has evaluated over 100 prospective students.

She lives in New York City with her husband and beloved computer. Her sons have (safely!) flown the coop.
