The Building Blocks of Social Justice Parenting: A Community Dialogue with Traci Baxley
Dr. Traci Baxley, author of Social Justice Parenting: How to Raise Compassionate, Anti-Racist, Justice-Minded Kids in an Unjust World, will participate in a community conversation with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leaders from Bank Street School for Children, Corlears School, Calhoun School, and Cathedral School about raising anti-racist, compassionate, and socially conscious children. As a professor of education who has spent 30 years teaching diversity and inclusion, Dr. Baxley offers essential guidance on how to take inventory of our actions and beliefs, develop self-awareness and accountability, and become role models poised to nurture a future generation of humane, compassionate individuals.
