LuAnna Lemon, SFC ’86, is a Dynamic Oncology & Infectious Disease In Vivo Pharmaceutical Scientist working in the discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics. She has worked in the industry for over 25 years and has experience at a number of top 10 pharmaceutical companies, including both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. While at Pfizer she was directly involved with the development of new antibacterials and cancer therapeutics, notably: Mylotarg, Bosulif, and Ibrance. She is most proud of her work with Ibrance, a drug that treats metastatic breast cancer. Just last year, this drug was approved to treat male breast cancer, a huge accomplishment in the field of male breast cancer, and LuAnna is very proud of her work with this team.
