Rich Joseph is passionate about education and the positive impact it has on young people. He believes in the power of progressive education to help students find meaning in their learning. Rich brings a wealth of experience to his work, with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in physical education from Teachers College Columbia University.
Beyond his academic background, Rich has an extensive background in athletics. He played basketball throughout high school, college, and the AAU league. He is also a certified personal trainer for over 12 years and was even featured in an Asics documentary exploring the connection between exercise and mental well-being.
For the past decade, Rich has been dedicated to developing the athletic skills of elementary and middle school students. He has coached, run clinics, organized summer camps, and served as a teacher, all with the goal of helping young people excel.
