Kristian Sorensen (he/they) is joining us as a sabbatical replacement for Drama for the first half of the year. Kristian has worked extensively as a theatre maker and educator throughout New York City for the past 10 years. Kristian is a teaching artist for Tony-winning New Victory Theater and facilitates Shakespeare residencies and designs curriculum for Lincoln Center Theater’s education programs, as well as teaches and directs participants with cognitive and developmental disabilities with CO/LAB Theater. Kristian has taught at Boston University’s Summer Theatre Institute for high schoolers. Over the last year, he also served as assistant director for both The Creative Arts Team’s Youth and Junior Youth Theatres. Kristian dabbles in film photography and darkroom processes and loves to dance. Kristian is an avid reader of fiction and enjoys spending time with his dog, Quill.
