Irene has been teaching Spanish in the Upper School since 2005. She is passionate about languages and sociolinguistics. Her love for exploring new cultures shines through in her teaching, as she often draws on her experience living and traveling abroad. Outside of the classroom, Irene enjoys spending time gardening, getting lost in a good book, as well as volunteering for a cat rescue. She is dedicated to helping students not only master the Spanish language but also gain a deeper understanding of the diverse world of Spanish-speaking cultures.
