Christine Torres is part of the kitchen team that oversees most of the front-of-house operations. In this role, she runs all front-of-house procedures, creating individual food labels for over 150 lunch subscriptions. Additionally, she has memorized over 30 different allergies from subscriptions and ensures the kitchen never cross-contaminates. Christine also keeps the stock and locker rooms organized and helps with the 2nd Floor Kitchen by doing a weekly sweep of inventory and restocking. Christine joined Bank Street in January of 2022 after filling in for the position for only a week. Christine has a kindergartener who is affectionately referred to as “KiKi.” Together, they enjoy trips to Governors Island where they go for long bike rides in the summer as well as the SLIME Institute in SoHo.
