Anja started working at Bank Street School for Children in 2022 as a Literacy Fellow. She started teaching in the 6/7s in 2023. Anja worked many years at The City College of New York developing hands-on curricula for teaching physical science & engineering in combination with art for underserved public elementary schools. She taught art, science, and engineering throughout the five boroughs and provided PD-workshops nationwide. Anja loves art, goes hiking with her 110lb Golden Retriever, and does cardio kickboxing.
