Dave Mortimer has taught the 13/14s math and science curriculum for more than seventeen years. He is known for bringing both curiosity and energy to the classroom—helping students explore everything from factoring quadratic expressions to safely igniting hydrogen gas. Dave’s classes balance high expectations with humor and care, and he’s proud to guide eighth graders through a year of challenge, growth, and discovery.
Outside the classroom, Dave is an experienced outdoorsperson. He enjoys hiking, skiing, sailing, and canoeing, and often brings his love of the natural world into his teaching.
