Laura Guarino

Senior Advisor to Children's Programs

Laura began her career at Bank Street in 1984 as a Lower School teacher. In the years that followed, she held the positions of: Summer Camp Director; Director of the Family Center; Associate Director of Admissions in the School For Children; Lower School Division Head in the School for Children; and most recently as the Associate Dean of Children’s Programs.

When she is not at Bank Street, Laura loves to knit, listen to music and be at the beach! She can also drive a stick shift. Laura says she “believes in the power of a Bank Street education because of the depth of Bank Street’s commitment to nurturing the curiosities and passions of young minds. Our society needs engaged, critical thinkers who will advocate for social justice and the health of our planet.”
